There’s always a 3-course sit down meal, entertainment and even tea & cakes – and all for £3.50!  Please see our full summer timetable of speakers and events above.

We are thrilled to announce the Baby & Toddler group will  become a permanent fixture from September. Join us on a Friday morning, with toys, ride-ons and

games for children, coffee and biscuits for parents, and a bit of Shabbat singing for everyone.

Fridays 11.15am starting in September. Looking forward to meeting some new little faces!

Cemetery opening times on Tisha B'Av:

Please note opening times for United Synagogue cemeteries on Sunday 7 August 2022, Tisha B’Av

 

  • Bushey Old and New Cemeteries, Waltham Abbey Cemetery and Willesden Cemetery  09.00 – 17.00

  • East Ham Cemetery, 09.00 – 15.00 

  • Alderney Road Cemetery, 11.00 – 15.30 

  • Brady Street, Lauriston Road, Plashet and West Ham Cemeteries, 11.00 – 15.00

 

The United Synagogue cemeteries are maintained to a good standard but due to the nature of the grounds there are inevitable risks namely, slips and trips.   In particular, please be careful when visiting the older cemeteries. Paths can be very uneven.   When walking around the graves please ensure that you do not hold onto the headstones and you watch your footing. The ground at these cemeteries is very volatile; subsidence can occur at any time. Please take notice of the iron railings and any signage indicating risk.
